The team I work with are the most professional and skilled I've worked with. We all strive for the same goals and put safety at the top.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Management truly has an open door policy like I've never experienced. I feel listened to when there is a problem and included in the solution. I feel appreciated for the work that I do.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are paid below the industry average for the metro area I service. Driving in our city is challenging daily. The level of skill and professionalism expected and required should be equally compensated for.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I have served in the military and have had a career in law enforcement. I've worked under many different management styles and personalities. I have always felt like just a number or a body to do the job most places. My management team at Waste Connections builds a relationship with their employees.
