WC is a group of the most fun, most loving, genuine, and compassionate people on earth.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The ability to conduct myself as a professional in terms of PO, without a limit, or structure, is wonderful. The stock options and bonus potential seem unmatched in the industry, certainly in engineering.
What makes you most happy at work?
1A) Challenges 1B) people. Trash is very interesting and challenging, certainly the most inclusive application of my env. engineering training and experience I could imagine. I am allowed to be creative in my technical work here. Also, the people make me laugh and want to work hard for them.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The values of Waste Connections are not moving goal posts, they are known, tangible, and either they are intrinsic to who you are as a person, or you will not be successful here. The leadership team has only a single message that does not falter from our values, ever.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The values are known, and unchanging. We find people who live that way as opposed to being forced to adapt. This mindset here, I can say with certainty, has made me a better man, friend, family member, and partner. I am better for working in this company. My life is better.
