i have been with Waste Connections for 11 years now. I have met so many amazing people and have learned a great deal about the industry. Most recently, I took a "promotion" at a different district and it has been disappointing due to the lack of engagement from my manager. I am worth more!

What are some of the best things about your team?
We work hard and play hard.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel very undervalued. An increase in compensation or bonus/stocks option to align with my experience and industry salary averages would be ideal.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Overall the culture is great. Unfortunately, some don't practice what they preach. I find many departments stay to themselves and don't go out of their way to engage with other departments.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I use to LOVE to go to work until I transferred to another location. I am not use to having a managers not engaging or at least saying hello. I find it discouraging to have my manager walk by your desk every day and never look at me and say "Good Morning!"
