After being in the same industry over 20 years, ten of which were with the same company, I was nervous to make any type of employment change. Since being onboard, Waste Connections has brought me a lot of personal and professional experiences that make me wonder why I waited so long to find them!

I love the balance between my personal and work life.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team is very caring to their staff as well as they are confident and knowledgeable about the many company processes, industry, and Management strategies.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love that the culture of our team is Servant Leadership based. It shows in the respect that everyone gives each other on all kinds of daily interactions. The moral is so positive.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I loved the interview process because my Manager was 'genuine' in respect to his professional yet caring personality. This allowed me to feel comfortable in discussions. After working with him for a while, I confirm that he is the same personality as the interview!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The Managers at Waste Connection are finely tuned into their staff's needs because they have a Servant Leadership attitude. They listen to their staff's views, reasoning and requirements knowing that their staff's perspectives and insight are vital to longevity and growth of any company.
What makes you most happy at work?
My position works so well for my driven personality. There is always something new to learn and that continually challenges me to grow. The more I grow, the more I feel confident in supporting my team. And, I love to support my team and see them win.
