Realistic expectations regarding workload, less focus on every metric that is possible to measure, more focus on actual results. Too much emphasis on the ability to talk a good game, too little on the actual results.

The company has moved to generalized leadership roles that require a broader understanding of our business for coworkers to be effective and work better together. Unfortunately, we have eliminated many of the support positions that helped with training and developing new and mid level leaders.
