There has been a lot of incredible changes at Medela since I first started with the company. A lot of new people have come into the company with new ideas that have changed the way we think about what we do. I'm happy to be surrounded by truly passionate people who are customer focused.

It has been incredibly rewarding and challenging to work for Medela. The business has changed tremendously over the course of my career. Although it is exciting and rewarding it can be a challenge for work/life balance with constantly changing priorities and initiatives and limited resources.

Shared passion to put the customer first. I also see efforts being made to improve cross-departmental communication by involving more people in decision making, especially for customer facing activities.

We have a shared passion for helping families and providing the best customer experience possible. They are creative, innovative and generally think outside of the box to find solutions, even if it seems to be impossible at the time.

I feel that I am undercompensated considering the amount of responsibility I have and the specialized expertise it takes to be in my position. Many employees, myself included, are committed and driven because we are passionate about this business and helping families, but not compensated fairly.

The ability to work from home and still feel completely connected to my team as well as other departments. I have everything I need to be successful remotely and the option to go into the office as needed. It has been a game changer for work/life balance.
