Medela: The CTO should make a step to "brigde the disconnect" between him and his engineers -> he made some initial steps in fall 2021, but then once again, lost focus. Of course, the engineering teams will also need to make a step towards the CTO, but the current situation is filled with mutual mistrust

I have switched teams a few times, been promoted, have generally had good experiences with leadership, and still find the work challenging and interesting.

Helen of Troy: Extremely motivating. The company has high expectations, and resources the employees to continually perform at that level, including technology, training, personal time and many other tools. I feel like a valued person, not just an employee. That feeling is communicated from the top down.

Alliance Laundry: No clear direction of how they will achieve the next major upgrades to product other than thinking they can outsource everything. No undersanding that what they say they want to do and the amount of people and time it actually takes doesn't set up the company for success.
Datto: Great culture of openness, down-to-earth yet with the head-in-the-cloud thinking to benefit our partners. It nicely stands in the middle where virtue stands we are told.
