The Always Learning mentality of being open to learn new things and having every error be a learning opportunity. Asking questions and asking for help is encouraged. Team atmosphere is great even for remote employees.
I like that they are making an effort to engage all staff and to be inclusive of primary care providers so they don't feel obligated to choose between having a family and having a job. I like that they are open to a distributed work force.
People with my qualifications earn about 10$ an hour more elsewhere. The higher pay I would receive at a competitor is offset by the autonomy I have at SWCA. Sometimes it is troubling when talented peers leave because raises are rare at SWCA and pay is consistently lower than competitors. Oh well.
