I was almost ready to leave tP due to my previous manager whom made it a poor experience for me. I know it was not TP so I had faith that it would eventually be made right. So I kept going, did my job & hard work finally paid off giving me the boost to want to do more. Too many hidden agendas....
We are working towards being one team... love it!
The new group of people I work with today, by new role and my mission.
There are so many people anting to make a difference. This gives hope to every day challenges.
My new team is amazing, its not about being competitive but about leaning in and helping/learning from each other.
We need cultural alignment, everyone needs to be on the same page and to work towards same goals. There are too many silos at functional level.
When I can put a smile on my clients faces or support my team. Oh and when I can get my work done without having to escalate.
My previous manager didnt care nor ever took the time. My new manager is fantastic. I love our leadership team and thing we would be better if we got rid of the geos. Internal politics are a pain.
Some of my previous team members were great to work with. Collaborative, wanting to help support in a global way and to drive change. Others did the same job in so many different ways and pushing a regional approach.
I think that a number of people are not compensated based on their role but instead based on their location. Some are squeezed like a lemon and other have a work life balance. We need to get more of a balance.
I know I am getting less than what the competition offers, and my exec teams around the globe dont get paid enough. We need to have a balance in terms of pay and also in terms of work life balance as we continue to lose talent
