More quality control. We like to sell fast, ship product fast, implement fast, support fast...we're big enough now that we really need to put more emphasis on doing things right rather than just fast.

I had it very easy compared to others. We require way too many interviews. It's not uncommon to have someone go though half a dozen interviews just to get blocked last-minute because a high-level manager or exec didn't like something on their resume.

More background diversity in hiring, especially in management. We have way too many people who all went to the same schools, worked for the same companies, and think that they know everything without bothering to learn. Have more respect for your people who have been around for years.
