I love the people I work with on my teams. Executive leadership dictates a lot of what we do instead of letting the people that see the data and talk to customers actually make productive decisions. Then when we don't hit our goals executive leaders shrug and don't understand why. I can tell you why

I like that there are options to keep the premium lower.

They are really good about family and using your time wisely.

The people I work with on my teams... Also my manager is amazing.

My immediate manager has my back. They understand what productivity and outcomes mean. Outcomes not output.

They are all on the same page about getting the best experience and products to our customers.

They get it. My teams get how the process works. They're human and amazing. They're authentic. They watch out for each other.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Allow our talented folks to make decisions. Don't force people to come back to the office. It KILLS productivity. Especially in an open office layout. The teams that talk to customers and study that data aren't given the chance to recommend building the right thing. It's all top down.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Utah companies always pay low. My job on LinkedIn and Glass door pays at least 30k more than I make now. Now that we are being asked to drive back to the office, there's gas and inflation prices. Also, you hire smart people to let them tell you how to do things rather than telling them what to do.
