AEVEX's compensation package is just OK. It definitely is not an industry leader. 401K matches are low for the industry. I think AEVEX could do better in this area.
I'm at the top of my "payband", but my salary has stagnated. That really diminishes AEVEX's position each year to keep me from a financial perspective. Other companies haven't stagnated for a position like mine.
Overall they are great people, patriots, and care about customers. But I think we've lost focus on supporting existing customer base and focus on new business at the expense of the customers that provided AEVEX the past performance to expand.
I know I'm not an average performer, yet my pay hasn't increased accordingly. In 6.5 years of AEVEX employment, my raises significantly lags our proposed/approved excalation rates, COLA, and other measures of economic growth. That show our "merit" based compensation plan is broken; I'm not valued.
Team is highly professional and customer/mission focused. We are recognized as the standard in what we do. Others try to emulate us to failing results. However, support from AEVEX engineering and software has been flailing and needs to be addressed to become existing customer focused again.
1) Several peers have higher increases in pay or promotions 2) Pay lags industry increases 3) My pay has lagged COLA...I know, we don't do COLA raises. So, that tells me that I'm not even performing average. 4) My program have increased 4X in revenue, my customers are happy, I'm not.
