Open communication and always feeling head by everyone around
Our environment/culture and my leadership
Genuine, hardworking, always there for one another, and trust worthy
They care about each one of their employees and give everyone the opportunity to grow.
I do not feel undervalued from my leadership but from a compensation standpoint there is a lot of story behind why I feel somewhat under compensated.
I come into work every day and genuinely love to be there. Very cliche but I leave everyday knowing I am making a difference in the world/helping contribute to making a difference in the world.
Over the past three years, I've' taken on significantly more responsibility due to ongoing team reductions and roles that were never backfilled. I have absorbed multiple former team members responsibilities and become a manager but yet to be reevaluated to reflect this increase scope of work.
One of the best things about our team is the strong sense of trust, collaboration and support we have built with each other over the last three years. We celebrate each other's wins and support each other during all of the challenges along the way in order to support the mission.
I feel like when I come to work every day it is not a normal 9-5 job, I come in actually feeling like I am making a difference in the world even though I am on the support end of everything it is nice to know we are all one big team trying to succeed together to support the war fighters.
