The compensation model is not market related or competitive enough for the amount of responsibility.
The positivity, maturity and willingness to be agile. Consistent hard work and the uniqueness each team member brings to the team.
The current environment is more mature and flexible to work in. This allows to structure time and productivity. The culture is evident even though times have changed, the MER principles still applies and are clear.
The new executive team is clear with their goals, what they are driving and the direction of the company. They are visible and on 'the ground' with the wider org. Execution is also fast and effective.
The SA market salaries are not relatable to the industry or similar roles within other organisations with the same responsibilities. Inflation is also prominent in the SA landscape which means should our salaries not be adjusted annually, we loose 'earn less' for higher living cost.
I enjoy my day to day responsibilities and taking part in shaping the landscape within the region. I enjoy client interaction & being part of the client lifecycle. Being a partner to our clients. Inspirational team members also makes me happy as the enjoyment of working with them is always high.
