Some days it feels like I am walking into an episode of a tv show-lots of drama. Other days I feel like I am surrounded by a cloud of stress and tension. I find ways to stay positive, but even the brightest light can be overshadowed.
What makes you most happy at work?
That I have people who share my same feelings.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that I can be transparent with them about my personal and professional goals.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I believe communication is key. We need to stop putting our emotions first and remember to respect each other as team members.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My manager honestly makes me feel more comfortable about certain situations; I also like the fact that I have people I can rely on to do their job correctly-most of the time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It seems like my work load is a bit much for the position I am in. I believe a supervisory role or even an extra person would help tremendously since the business coming into the hotel is growing exponentially in numbers.
