Review from Operations Dept

Communication, Internal Promotions, Advancement, Opportunities and Leadership

Review from Operations Dept

They could actually hear out the team and what the team needs because afterall we are on the floors we know firsthand

Review from Operations Dept

Effective leadership thrives on listening, empowering contributors, and respecting time. Leaders must trust team expertise, avoid micromanagement, and give space for strategic thinking. By fostering trust and collaboration, they inspire innovation, ownership, and quality outcomes.

Review from Operations Dept

My FOM and AM are fantastic. I could not ask for better managers to help guide myself and the team as a whole. However, the GM at our property seems to care only about money. While I understand the importance of making money as a company, it seems to overshadow the needs of the team and the guests.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

the level of responsibility has grown significantly, but I do not believe my compensation has kept pace with that growth.

Review from Operations Dept

I run 2 hotels and I dont think that 3% every year shows like the company cares. I fought hard 2 years ago for my staff to get better pay and never once have I asked for an extra raise. it would be nice to see that working 40 straight day the summer of 2025 mattered to someone.

Review from Operations Dept

I know others are making more than me in the same position with the same amount of experience as well as at other companies. No one has bothered to try and retain me

Review from Operations Dept

I am not looking to move but similar job postings online post better entry pay when I receive the alerts. Some of my GMs make what I make

Review from Operations Dept

Too many positions eliminated and consolidated this past year, putting pressure on those remaining to work so hard for pay that is not commensurate with demands.

Review from Operations Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Coworkers could improve by strengthening communication, strategizing, and collaborating across disciplines to streamline workflows. They should adopt a bigger-picture mindset, considering how their work impacts others and drives broader organizational success.

Review from Operations Dept

My peers need extensive management training. The pandemic took away seasoned managers. The managers in place were given the responsibilities of managers without additional training or over site needed. They are doing the best they can with what little experience they have and learning along the way.

Review from Operations Dept

My coworkers do not care about the work we do. I believe we should have more trainings, incentives, and meetings to give my coworkers more motivation and training to support them and provide them with the resources necessary.

Review from Operations Dept

Aimbridge has always shown interest with associates and moving up. The environment is always warm and the RVP, now VP ( Michelle Cotterell) is AMAZING!

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Practice what we preach, better leadership, caring about the employees and showing it

Review from Operations Dept

To improve culture, focus on strengthening communication, strategizing, and collaboration across disciplines. Foster a bigger-picture mindset and reduce dictation. Enable questioning, team-led strategy, and experimentation. Create a RACI framework and complete a Gap Analysis to streamline processes.

Review from Operations Dept

To assist better with employee problems within HR. Not to feel you can't go to your upper management and have a discussion without feeling at fault

Outlook Reviews

To improve, set clear goals and establish a detailed RACI framework for roles and accountability. Strengthen communication, strategizing, and collaboration across disciplines. Foster a bigger-picture mindset, enable questioning, team-led strategies, training, and conduct a Gap Analysis.

Review from Operations Dept

Our managers for front office team, they do not follow any of the Aimbridge Ways. My co workers & I agree that this is not what we signed up for. Lots of the issues the staff faces are not taken seriously, and we are just expected to deal with it. Managers tend to be lazy as well putting more on us.

Review from Operations Dept

Condition if the property it makes jt hard for all employees tonguve guest the best experience

Review from Operations Dept

Force ownership to spend money to renovate property.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel as though there could be additional above property support as my direct manager has a vast portfolio. My direct manager is wonderful, but I feel as though a smaller portfolio could benefit multiple managers. Additionally, feedback seems to be more focused on negatives rather than positives.
