I do really feel supported at my job. Coming from a much larger company where you don't know where the corporate ladder ends, it's nice to know I can talk to anyone at my property about anything that comes up. The only downside I previously mentioned is the pay-rate difference.

My leadership team is very supportive when it comes to work-life balance.

I feel like it is very easy to communicate with my team members, we all are very driven.
What makes you most happy at work?
Making positive connections with our guests and my team. I am a very empathetic person so I'm always happiest when others are happy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It can be frustrating at times knowing that other corporate-managed properties from the same brand right down the block from us pay 4 to 5 dollars more an hour for the same position I'm currently in. I love my team at my property, but financial stability is also very important to me.
