I am very pleased with my experience with Aimbridge. I have seen us grow, not only in size, but in other ways including technology resources, improved culture and more diverse focus than just the bottom line. I am proud to see how we have evolved and I look forward to seeing this all continue.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is like a family. We have ups and downs but generally everyone is there to support each other. As a GM, I am grateful for my department heads and their dedication to our success, I do everything I can to support them and our shared goals.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I would like to say that overall I am pleased with the compensation package, however, I do not agree with being penalized for my salary as it related to my 401K. Being able to only invest 3-4% of my income is extremely disappointing as I don't even get to maximize the company match.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I project the importance of work life balance for myself and my team. No work is to be left undone, but if time is managed properly we can maintain a balance and avoid overwork and burnout. I am flexible with their needs and I believe has been helpful in retention of my leaders.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love what I do, I feel like I am compensated fairly and I have the opportunity to lead and work without interference. I have a great work life balance and I take pride in my work. I have the ability to develop others and help them reach goals they may not be able to do elsewhere.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My VP is brand new to me to so I cant speak to him specifically, but generally I thrive when I am given the tools to do my job and allowed to do it. I have been with the company for 10 years and I appreciate that my leaders are always there if I need them, but otherwise allow me to excel on my own.
