I have been able to bring my authentic self to work since day one. If I have an idea I have been able to bring that to life. I can learn, grow and develop and I have a number of different paths that I could go down development wise. I have been nurtured and supported by all of my managers.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have moved around a lot. Made a lot of great connections. Been supported and grown. I am happy in my role but am not happy wtih my salary in terms of market value. Most of the time feedback is valuable but sometimes it feels personal and that isn't fair. But overall a good experience.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am eligible to receive a yearly bonus dependent on company performance. I am happy that my salary is competitive.
What makes you most happy at work?
A job well done. Feedback of all kinds, not just positive, but the ability to be given a chance to improve and grow
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am paid well below market value for my skills and expertise and for the kind of role which I am doing, and performing well at.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Ability to live openly, for the most part, and truthfully. Genuine caring about one another. If something isn't working, being given the reigns to do something about it. Lots of dev opportunities.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
DEIB initiatives and events, SRGs are supported and encouraged. The sky really is the limit, and every new person I interact with lifts me up further - they are all just so supportive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People seem genuinely invested in each other and to really have each others backs. This isn't the case 100% of the time and of course there are clashes occasionally but we celebrate and support each other every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The team seems to genuinely care about things other than just metrics, ie. DEIB initiatives and building a place where people feel able to live their truth. In addition many members of the leadership team appear to be able to understand that this is a cornerstone of a successful business
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all open, supportive, wonderful people with a shared vision. I feel like I can bring my entire, authentic self to work and they are there to support me when the waves get choppy. We all recognise our differences and our strengths, and I get the opportunity to work globally.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feeling trusted for example to run my own calendar and manage my own priorities. I am not micromanaged, but I feel that my manager is there for me in a supportive and professional manner. I get to show my creative side and work on projects. I have a disability and for me that is the best way to work
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They listen, and I feel valued and trusted. I can go on a call with someone much more high level/senior than me and feel like I have a valued, valid input. If there is a project that I want to work on, I am handed the reigns and asked what I need support wise to drive it across the finish line.
