I missed a few days of work this past week because I was sick to the point where I was basically bed-ridden. I came back to work and my boss sat me down in the lobby and screamed at me about how I "shafted him" in front of a bunch of customers. Looking for a new job.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some of my co-workers are entertaining, that's honestly about it.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicating with crew members in a constructive manner rather than belittling.
What did you like most about the interview process?
My interviewer was really nice. She seemed excited about the interview and that made it less awkward as a socially anxious individual.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My co-workers are the adult equivilant of high school bullies. They don't know how to work as a team, and the management could care less.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
New management is needed. Better workers are needed. Some more rules and maybe some meetings on how to treat each other are needed because some people missed that lesson in pre-school.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are always understaffed because they don't hire enough people for the afternoon shift. I am severely underpaid for the stress that puts on me every day. We also get no benefits so that's nice. A raise of at least $2 and some kind of health insurance coverage would be cool.
