Ive worked for four locations , and never found myself being properly trained . They went straight from video training to no hands on , straight to floor action . When i did the training , i made sure to go in depth and teach my employees hospitality
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers that are regulars ! Greeting them and recognizing their normal orders makes their day and mine . Its the whole purpose of the job to serve and satisfy the guest
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as my time and commitment makes no difference to the employees that work lackluster . Being recognized for going above and having being compensated as such woild make me feel better
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most excited about opening the store . I prepare everything with care and within standard. Getting to display the food and snacks , and greeting my regulars making light conversation to brighten both our days . Showing them its more than a transaction
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I dont particularly care for it . Ive never had an assertive manager that ran the floor and had control of the staff . I find many take it too lax ( including food saftey) and use work hours as hang out time . Need more authority or manager training
What did you like most about the interview process?
Not much . There isnt much of an interview process , just filling out paperwork and told when to come in . Ive applied online a couple of times and been told by the owner or manager that they dont utilize the online hiring system and to just come in .
