Lamar has been my family for almost 12 years. I have worked in 3 different offices and experienced many changes. My goal is to embrace my peers and provide a positive example to others.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
This is my 13th year with Lamar. I really enjoy the challenges and rewards. My only issue is NO opportunity for a flex schedule, if we could work from HOME just one day a week or have 4 (10 hour) shifts a week or even adjusted start time (7am to 4pm)....my work life balance is suffering!!!!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
The pressure to perform is becoming more difficult. My directly Manager is not a leader and just wants sales results with no career development. My other managers just push me to sell more and not groom me to be a leader. I currently work a min of 60 hours a week and feeling burned out.

My direct boss (Assistant GM) is very approachable and willing to help in any way he can.

We are all talented and hard working individuals. My direct Manager is extremely hard working and dedicated to our success.

I enjoy helping businesses grow and be a part of something dynamic and ever changing. MONEY also motivates me!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We need MORE fuel expenses as well as higher % on total sales. My current fuel fees are twice what the company offers and my % of sales is too low for my tenor and experience.

Our fuel reimbursement has NOT adjusted to meet the inflation. In my 10+ years with Lamar this has never increased. My billing is 10x's greater than year one with no additional fuel dollar nor wear and tear funds. The cell phone allowance of $70 is way too low.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Lamar should increase the fuel and cell phone allowances. I would also like a flex schedule allowing me to work from home at least one day a week or 4(10 hour) days to decrease my 12+ hours of commuting a week. FLEX schedules should be a company option not local option.
