Lamar has been more than fantastic to me and my family. Sure, I work hard to earn a piece of the honor, but time after time the management team, and direct supervisors always step up, back me up, praise me up and encourage/correct in a way that leaves me feeling respected and wanting to push myself.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Lamar is competitive, in a good way, and it provides competitive people a place to perform. Its also a place full of real people, who are comfortable being themselves and genuinely enjoying what we do. Very few toxic environments in my experience over the years.

Family first, and company second.

Meeting and exceeding our goals.

The peace of mind of knowing that I am giving my family a fantastic life.

They are focused, driven people that have a heart for their employee population and really to step up when needed.

The fact that every day is different, and the people (peers and customers) that we get to interact with every day.

We all work really well together, enjoy being around each other (for the most part) and look forward to working together each week.

They are all so positive and eager to do something special as a group. Competetive, yes, but cooperative, focused, and willing to lend a hand whenever needed.

They are actively engaged in growing the company and try to stay ahead of where we need them to be to do our part in that same mission.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Well, the salary/bonus structure in and of itself is great to start with. Still, I specifically appreciate the Stock Options and ability to buy common stock at a discount each quarter.
