Lamar has provided me with an incredible opportunity to grow as an individual and support my family. To put it bluntly....I bleed green and white. I consider myself an ambassador for what Lamar Stands for in my office, my community and across all Lamar channels/offices.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The Executive Team seems to be more engaged and cognizant in what is going on 'in the field' and tuned into the needs/wants of the field.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
While Salary does not seem on par with the industry (low compared to market size and COL), in a good year, there is opportunity to share in Lamar's success.
What makes you most happy at work?
Every day, I have the opportunity to make a difference...influencing and motivating my team by leading by example, growing and developing our business and making a difference in our community!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Core values are centered around family first. As a manager, we are entrusted to 'run it like you own' it...as if your name was on the door. The Decentralized culture is unique and what makes Lamar great!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Team members genuinely care about others, on a personal level. All share in each others successes. Very impressed with my mgmt and administrative team and their level of engagement, even though they are not they highest compensated staff. More focused on TEAM vs AE's on own success.
