Lamar is hands down one of the best companies i have had the privilege to be a part of. Not only do I feel valued as an employee, I also feel as if I have become a better person with such a healthy work environment. I plan on remaining in the company for as long as physically possible.
What makes you most happy at work?
The excitement the job brings, the positive environment coworkers bring, the endless opportunities within the company and feeling like I matter to the company rather than just an expendable resource.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It makes me feel confident within my job which allows me to have the drive to advance and grow within the company. Personally, lamar is the best company and work environment I've been a part of.
What are some of the best things about your team?
It doesn't feel like a group of coworkers. To me, it feels like an extended family. Im honestly excited to interact with my team on a daily basis. It makes the job so much more exciting. We work and communicate very well together.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They do a wonderful job at maintaining a professional environment but also an open door environment in which makes me feel more confident as an employee. Management does a fantastic job of listening to the employees and adapting to their needs that help with their day to day responsibilities.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Personally, I feel like with the constant increase in cost of living and the inflation issue at hand, Lamar falls behind in the category as a whole. I also understand that it is a company and fair decisions have to be made to maintain an equal work environment for everyone.
