This would be an good job if I had a better immediate manager. Now, it's just okay. More vacation time, actual sick time and more than one week of paid maternity leave would be fantastic. Lamar isn't a 21st century company when it comes to those things.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I've waxed and waned between not liking this job very much to really enjoying it. My direct managers haven't been very welcoming at times but they've gotten better. I used to think my job was on the line every day I came into work. Over time, that feeling has dissipated.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Probably access to HSA and stock trading.

I think they've been responsive to some feedback.

Good people, good to work with, team players.

5-6% commission is pretty solid for a sales job.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Good Co workers, mostly supportive bosses and opportunities for advancement.
What makes you most happy at work?
The thrill of making sales and bringing in new customers.

I think they're somewhat receptive to suggestions from employees on how to better their workplace.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People are willing to pick up the slack for others. We have really good checks and balances between departments.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That it's gotten better over the last few months. It's been pretty bad at times here. There's better vibes now in the office.
What makes you most happy at work?
Great customer feedback. Lets me know that I'm doing things right. Also, when a manager congratulates you about a contract. Dosn't happen as much as it should.
