I am very happy. We have great tools, and upper management continues to invest in them. We still have room to grow in that regard. The benefits are better than any other company. Training tools and leadership opportunities for sales and operations are amazing with a clear path for advancement.

The total benefits package (all types of insurance- health, life, vision, dental, etc), 401k match, stock plan, time off, etc.

Over the years, I have had an opportunity to work with family's to grow their business. In some cases, helping multiple generations manage these opportunities.

There is a healthy work / personal life balance. The corporate execs continue to invest in new data driven tools to help the field be more more efficient.

Nationwide, the leadership team seeks feedback from the field and they continue to ask how they can be better. Corporate offers assistance and tools to help the field. Goals for growth are stated clearly and are results driven.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
There is a list. Great health benefits, vision, dental, 401(k) with company match ($.50 up to 5% salary), employee stock purchase plan (15% discount), life insurance, long term disability, and local training / reimbursement for some educational expenses (Local general managers discretion).
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are a publicly traded, nationwide media company. Yet with all of our size and growth, the people in the organization remain faithful to the golden rule in business. And we have not forgotten our roots and the advertisers who helped us get to where we are today
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happy when I am able to get a deal done that would not have happened if I was not there. My career is about making a substantial difference in Lamar's profitability for decades to come. Once signature today can be worth millions of dollars for our future.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
One great thing is our connection with history and the past, with a focus on technology and growth for the future. The most positive is the foundation of our culture of following the "Golden Rule", and "Leave It better than you found it" are not often found in todays nationwide organizations.
