What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team instills trust and belief in my abilities to succeed on behalf of not only our company but also our clients. That trust is comforting and helps build my confidence in my position.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My job allows me to be out in the field most of my days, granted there are times where I'm glued to my computer as well, depending on the weather, appointments, etc. The in-office environment is peaceful and positive.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Coming from an hourly, medical field position, the best benefit is my ability to accommodate and adjust to my work/life balance. Of course, the insurance, PTO, and 401K are arguably superior, but the flexibility that allows me to perform to my best abilities is the most rewarding.
What makes you most happy at work?
My ability to help local businesses and organizations not only achieve but surpass their goals has been a very rewarding facet of my position at Lamar. Leaving the medical field, my desire and purpose to help people has seemingly permeated as I've become more comfortable in my position.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The office dynamic is fairly familial. We are all invested with each other's personal life and even within my first year of employment, I had unexpected losses in the family, got married, moved, etc. And all of these big life events brought out concern and genuine appreciation from my team.
