I've been employed with the Salvation Army for fourteen months now and during this time I have experienced micromanagement, discrimination, and the poorest culture in my professional life. Inspite of my experience I have had great success that has gone unacknowledged which isn't surprising.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
After I had a consultant do a salary analysis of my position in my region of the country I learned that my salary is not competitive with others in my industry. I recruited a full staff in the middle of a national staff shortage in my industry, and increased program fee revenues in my department.
