Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have been here for over 10 years and can honestly say that this is the best company I have ever worked for. Within my career I have worked for two smaller firms and one other larger firm. Hands down this company is the best. I've been in the business for close to 23 years.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The ESOP is a wonderful benefit. Our health and dental insurance are fantastic as well.
What makes you most happy at work?
Completing a project efficiently and successfully. Where clients, agencies, and project team feel good for the work we've done.

We receive a statement that includes a list of our benefits and shows the total amount of compensation, beyond just our salary.

The ability to reach out to any one of them regardless of your position in the company. They are available and will listen and find solutions.

People WANT to be part of a team. It is an environment where people want to help each other succeed and treat each other with respect.

The team I work with have the same goals and drive to succeed as I do. They are also caring people that work to support each other in all aspects of our jobs.
What makes you most happy at work?
My favorite thing is continuing to learn all aspects of the services we offer. I am in cultural resources and I enjoy learning about natural resources as well as how projects are constructed and all aspects of permitting a project.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our recent training for supervisors is something that has inspired me. I have been a supervisor for years with multiple companies. SWCA is the first company I've worked for to implement this type of training program to support and assist its supervisors. This benefits staff of all levels.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That we are always learning, that it is ok to say you don't know the answer (but in my opinion if you don't know, you should seek out the answer or get help - which is what is encouraged), and the teamwork within our office as well as across all offices.
