There are some intelligent people with potential but they are into a bad leadership and they are attached to do the old same things on and on
Allow people create and propose, ensure that your leaders communicate well their expectations and keep this expectation in the reality. Be consistent about what the leader said that the company wants and the actions and support to do it.
The leaders need to keep theirs promise till the end, and have a consistent speech, unfortunately there are many people that said one thing but at the end do other, and there is no space and support for new things and always you hear this is how this work here.
I truly believe that we need to be consistent and be open to new ideas, if you hire people to tell that they need to do the same old things that you usually do you will no evolve, there is not a clear definition of the future or at least no are a connection
