For the most part, Its been a positive journey thus far and a lot of learning. I've been fortunate enough to work directly under some of the most authentic and hard working leaders in our business. Culturally, we have a long way to go but believe if we actively work towards the values it would help.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Internal movements are generally harder for employees to receive actual market related salaries. Additional benefits such as full medical aid cover
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel there are pockets of leaders who really put people at the core of the what they do and makes you feel like you belong and are part of the team.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with people who shares the same values and is willing to work and invest as much as I do to improve things. Also, getting opportunities to work across different projects and areas of the business.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I think culturally we need to be able to challenge what we know to be the norm or see as acceptable because we know this is how our people are. I feel we would benefit from "Lead by Values" type sessions and through the values speak one language. Consistency across leadership and processes.
