My store is an outlier in that it is very small, so everybody knows each other. I have only been working for about 6 months but so far I've had a great time working overnights. The company is not run very well and management is a little spotty, but overall as an associate I don't mind my job.
What did you like most about the interview process?
There wasn't much of an interview, it was a straight yes or no after application.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone tries their best on overnights to get the work done. Additionally everyone will keep their spirits up if something goes wrong or management has issues.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to get better at managing people. There is a serious lack in teamwork amongst the shifts and the management does not help at all. They do the bare minimum to scrape by corporates' standards.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I don't have much experience with other compensation packages but I believe for what Walmart is, the package is not all too bad. The best part is probably the matching 7% of 401k and I believe up to 15% of equity.
