Review from Operations Dept
The leadership team is people focused and bottom line driven. Motivating millions of people to put customers first makes completing my work hard, but all in all, the customer is the reason for every season and they make that absolutely clear
Review from Operations Dept
What I like best is I'm the smartest one in the room when the leadership team meets.

Recognizing hard work, and promoting accordingly, instead of promoting those that have managed to become your friend. Mostly though, willingness to HELP your team succeed rather than adding to the already strenuous work load, standing in the way and yelling at us to work harder.

The team leads and coaches are rewarded for the labor of the associates.
Review from Operations Dept
I do feel undervalued as an associate due to wages low amount of paid time off and just the way a person is treated
Review from Operations Dept
I've always believed a person's work should speak for itself. At walmart it absolutely does NOT. It's all in who you know. I out preform every person making more than me in my dept. Managers included. But they refuse to make me full time after 8 months. Because I have no friends in management.
Review from Operations Dept
Getting paid for how much workload i can handle sounds fair to me, but instead i do all of my coworkers jobs while they take extra 15 minutes breaks and sometimes extra lunches.

Review from Operations Dept
There was not much of an interview. Merely tolde in order to get hired I had to completely open up my availability. Since it was the beginning of COVID, I did, but then I could not get any Sundays off. I am lucky to have 2 days off in a row.
Review from Operations Dept

Corporate is too disconnected from what actually happens in the stores and how the employees are actually treated and what the employees want/need. Corporate needs to get in the stores more, without giving notice so they can see the truth, and talk to the employees in private.
