Acelero Learning – We are in start up, which I love but work can sometimes be done in silos and moving this quickly, that can cause some chaos. Roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined as they could be. I have overall had a good experience but struggle to have my voice heard when I am at the table and value | Comparably

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I love the remote environment and I have found my tribe to help and mentor me. We work hard and find work/balance to reduce burnout.

What makes you most happy at work?

I love that I am serving childing and families on a state level. Working in public and state systems is my passion and I love making partnerships throughout the state.

What are some of the best things about your team?

It was a struggle to answer that question, with yes/no. I enjoy the majority of my coworkers. My team was selected for me, so that has been a challenge at times as leader.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I am a member of the executive leadership team and I am still fighting for a spot to be heard at the table. I am at the table but do not necessarily feel heard or valued.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay equity is a struggle in our project. I have a title that others hold within my project and I have more responsibilities than others with the same title that are make $20,000 more than me.
