Overall my experience thus far has been very positive. I have noticed that some coworkers need to develop in terms of language and inclusivity. However overall, the experience has been fantastic.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all support each other and I feel the majority of us work as a team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most of the team is very qualified and do their best to live up to the Acelero mission statement.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing the children grow and develop. It's extremely rewarding when you see the children apply what they are learning.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Since I've started with Acelero, I truly feel like our team is a family. My Center Directors are both extremely supportive and are always there for whatever I need.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In terms of living wage, I feel the majority of the staff is underpaid for the work they do. I understand we're dependent on grants and donations but I feel employees would be happier and retention would improve if we were paid more.
