when I started I loved working here, with supporting families and amazing coworkers. Now in a leadership role, senior leadership only tells you what they want to see and don't want push back. Lately is about numbers and not our staff or families. Some days are good and some days are bad.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Communication and how we all support each other.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Overseeing four different love seeing how each center is different depending on the families and coworkers there. Also the fact that we all communicate and help each other where we can
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership needs to be present in the center speak to the staff one on one and get a better understand on wants going on and not just what a report stats it happening
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because it's all about reports and not about the staff and families. It will make me feel better about compensation if we got pay more and if their was pay raises
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
No support or communication from senior leadership. Everything is about what not happening instead of speaking and seeing what is really happening in the center. To improve senior leadership needs to stop being on camera and be present in classroom, speaking to staff and families.
