AA headquarters is a mostly hostile work environment

What did you like most about the interview process?

The interviewing manager was the best part of the process. The third party vendor was the worst part.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The "Incentive Compensation" for Sales is suppose to account for 25% of total compensation. However, nobody understands how it's calculated and it rarely amounts to a "hill of beans".

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Changing the "corporate culture" doesn't mean just adopting a lot of random programs. Fred Smith (FedEx) understands the concept of "treat your employees right and everything else will fall into place". Doug Parker should take lessons from Fred Smith!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Management needs to listen to front line employees that interact with customers on a daily basis. They set their own agenda and hope that the front line employees will agree with it. Management will never ask front line employees "how can we do this better?"
