American Airlines group is so focused on promoting minorities (since it's now scared of the NAACP) that they often promote incompetent individuals over qualified individuals. The company lacks almost everything it takes to be a great company.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop promoting incompetent people into management positions.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Everyone doing the same job needs to be paid the same (within reason based on seniority).
