Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This question is misleading, I never said I feel undervalued. We just don't pay as much as some other companies, pay isn't the only reason I choose a job. What would make me feel better is more money.

Health insurance deductible is too high. The parking/transit FSA was a nice perk when we were going to the office but is just wasted now and nothing comparable has been provided in its place (WFH office budget, etc).

Definitely "Play for Each Other", it's a value that shines through in the way people are always willing to step up and help. Amperity has very strong cross-team relationships especially as a result.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Decisions are made at the top and passed down. Feedback is taken after the fact but nothing is ever done to incorporate it and change the decision. There is very little positive reinforcement and critical feedback is often vague and/or unfounded.

The product gets better every day. Our engineering team is dedicated to making things work, serving our customers and delivery teams with new features all the time. They listen to identify what's important.

No pathway to promotion or increased scope/responsibility. Loud voices crowd out team decision-making so there is very little shared ownership.
