Transparency, it is clear the company is not doing well financially but there has been no announcement of how we will weather the storm. How can someone work to better the company if they do not know the direction. New employee have no vacations cause of shutdowns. give them advance notice atleast
Review from Marketing Dept
Communication, compassion, flexibility, and understanding. There is unfairness. Some employees are allowed to do certain things, such as working from home when needed, whereas others are not allowed to. Some managers are more flexible with their employees, and others are not.
Review from Marketing Dept
investing in and understanding newer employees. The culture makes assumptions based on 20+ year veterans. Many processes are not written down/operationalized. New employees don't simply know the person to ask. New people have new ideas this company desperately needs.
Review from Marketing Dept
Communication, employee appreciation, flexibility, and compassion.

Kaiser is easier than the alternatives

Great salary and annual bonus program.
Review from Marketing Dept
The best part is the base pay.

We have a hearing aid benefit

The health insurance, and partial 401k match.

Pay me what my experience in the field should be paid
Review from Marketing Dept
I am forced to take unpaid days due to shut down which brings down my pay. There is no bonus and as a result have no skin in the game. Pay is below market value and there is no value to compensate. For example you can not work from home or comminutor benefit to compensate.
Review from Marketing Dept
The cost of living here is astronomical. I could not afford to live anywhere in San Jose or Morgan Hill on my salary. One reason why we lose newer engineers to Google/Apple is they get 2x the pay. The older employees bought a home 20 years ago... they don't know what it's like to pay $1M for a home.
Review from Marketing Dept
My title and the job position that I have are not the same and have not changed, even when I have asked. I wear lots of hats and am not appreciated by my leadership team for doing what I do. I do it for the company and to support my work ethics even though I am not compensated for the work I do.
Review from Marketing Dept
Goals are meant to be above and beyond our job responsibility. However, even though we complete them, we are not compensated for it. We either get no raise, or the same raise as those who don’t comp

Review from Marketing Dept
Everyone is siloed and is not allowed to know what other deparment is doing even though we are all Anritsu. Best example is how Sales and Manufacturing do not talk in meaningful way.
Review from Marketing Dept
People should be more organized and thoughtful when planning projects and communicate productively.
Review from Marketing Dept
It's great to see the variety of cultures and how they interact with each other
Review from Marketing Dept
Many of the people here are always there to help each other to succeed.

I like the positive interactions with my team and the casual environment.

There is no micromanagement here
Review from Marketing Dept
Listen to new employees. Promote new ideas. involve people in the vision/plan/tactics more. take culture cues from other T&M companies.

Review from Marketing Dept
I am happy at my ability to make a difference and not being an invisible member of the team.

when I have enough work to do
Review from Marketing Dept
Forced shutdown should be announced much more in advanced so we can plan our vacations. We should have used the quarterly bonus to reinvest instead of paying out employees when sales are down.
Review from Marketing Dept
There is not enough people to do the current work. They need to cut projects or staff up and reduce the runway or get injection of cash. There is too much work and expectation is to maintain work load and quality with no increase in pay. Refusal to change to modern best business practices.
Review from Marketing Dept
More collaboration and appreciation is needed here. I feel very unappreciated. This has only started happening the past few years.
Review from Marketing Dept
There are some nonsensical practices that have passed down through generations of employees that are still happening even though nobody can produce a logical reason why they are doing what they are doing.
Review from Marketing Dept
it's just not an exciting, forward-looking culture. we are doing things the way they have always been done. That's deadly to tech companies/young engineers. We can't afford to be left behind in 1990.
