Everyone has diverse backgrounds and prior employment experience, everyone is interested to hear what recommendations people bring and to see if it can make things better at Appian.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone I have interacted with at Appian is willing to help and teach others. I have not been in a single situation where an ego was in the room.
What makes you most happy at work?
The product I am working on is very interesting to me. The technology is new and challenges me to look at the industry and how we are making an impact.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that out 401k is far behind what others are offering in the market, it is not uncommon to see companies offering 6-8% match with a 24 month vesting period. I do like that RSU vest annually and do not have a staggered vesting cycle like others in the industry.
