My daily experience has been positive, I have a friendly helpful manager, and the work I do is valued by the company. Looking to the future, I think I could be paid more, and some recent organizational changes, have me concerned for my job. I am also concerned about career advancement.

My boss's door is always open, and the higher ups are approachable and friendly.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is mostly remote, so the only person I interact with is my boss. As mentioned he is friendly, supportive, and helpful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Since signing on, interest rates mean that I am getting paid less for the same job. I feel that Appian should give cost of living raises to their employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The hybrid environment is the most positive, it allows you the freedom to do household chores at home during the work day, and when you are in the office you have the opportunity to collaborate on tasks.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I feel that my job is valued by the company and important to the company's future success. However, I do not feel excited to come into work. My job is what I do, not who I am. It pays for the things I need to survive, and the things I want to do outside of work.
