I have been with ArcBest for just shy of 3yrs and have truly enjoyed it. Obviously there are up's and down's but on average more up's for sure. I LOVE the culture the truly VALUES driven couture is something that we take very seriously and it is felt throughout the organization.
What makes you most happy at work?
My job in general is great I enjoy helping out "internal clients" or employees through difficult healthcare needs. We know if our work force is not well then our external clients are not going to be happy.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very engaged in both external and internal issues and actively seek and respond to feedback in a timely matter....when something isn't working we fix it when it is we celebrate it and continue to evolve it to BEST!
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked meeting several different levels of management in my interview seeing the way they interact with one another gave me a good indication of what the department would be like on a daily basis, and provided several different perspectives.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The companies Wellness initiative is unlike anything else I have been apart of and they truly care and want their workforce to be their best in and out of the workplace! It's a value and not just a check box for cheaper premiums.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the most positive thing about our work culture is the energy that we bring to everyday. Our team is very focused on the goal...big or small...and we all know that each player is engaged and driving towards that it makes going to work and working hard more rewarding!
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work very closely and are always changing and adjusting to what is best for our employee's and clients. I like the team atmosphere and the fact that our management is "in the trenches" with us so to speak they are active in our daily work not just in there office doing who knows what.
