It is an environment of none I have had before. Leadership is interested and involved in what is done and how things could be better. People are happy to help out and brainstorm on projects or solutions. It's amazing and I am truly blessed to be a part of ArcBest!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It is achievable although sometimes it might be extreme but it is rewarding to see our accomplishments and be rewarded for our efforts.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with are amazing! They and my Customers are what makes me most happy because of the relationships formed and daily interactions.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have an enormous variety of personalities and strengths that there is always someone that can either lighten your mood or assist in developing and executing a solution for a Customer.
What did you like most about the interview process?
While interviewing, I was able to have interactions with some of the people I would be working for/with and that allowed me to learn a little more about the environment and culture.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The transparency our Leadership team gives is appreciated because #1, they do not have to and #2, it shows their investment in their employees. It was pretty remarkable too that no one was excluded from a reduction in hours/salary during the pandemic whereas some companies top Leadership may not.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When I joined ArcBest 10 years ago I was overwhelmed by the size and number of employees but the people and team I was hired into welcomed me and were eager to share their knowledge. Time has flown by and the environment, regardless of department are all the same. Warm, welcoming and happy to share.
