I could work my job for a full forty year career and be completely satisfied. My manager became a mentor and I learned a lot. The problems began when I realized I would have to also perform a majority of functions unrelated to sales with almost no cooperation outside of my team.

My pay is reliant on too many inside factors that require unmotivated departments greatly lacking in critical thinking to act. The majority of my role involves a great deal of conflict with business partners outside of my immediate group.
