As an hourly employee I have no sick leave and very little vacation. Our management refuses to address the current pandemic Covid 19 or even let us know what will happen if one of us gets sick and quarantined. We don’t know if we will get payed

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
BNSF posts massive profits every year, even 2020. Despite this, the leadership has pushed a propaganda campaign over the last decade of the company always being on the verge of collapse. This then justifies them making massive cuts for "efficiency" and annual raises under the rate of inflation.

BNSF treats you as guilty until proven innocent. Slow to investigate vandalism from public but quick to investigate employees. BNSF need to treat all employees the same. To creat the same compensation for medical and stock purchases for all employees.

We receive zero sick days and are harassed for trying to take earned vacation days. The company continually fights to reduce benefits every contract.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
BNSF employees are great but come from backgrounds with mindsets of bending over backwards for the company. I believe leadership specifically tries to hire people from outside BNSF that they deem for one reason or another to be able to pursue alternative employment. They take advantage of this.

Management at my work location does not want to pay us the hours we work or allow us to take the vacation time we have earned. We are under a collective bargaining agreement they signed with the union but do not want to follow after the fact. They have hired more people to cut and audit your pay
