I always have to challenge any preconceived notions I have and constantly learn new things about people and how they perceive the world. I'm most happy when I'm constantly learning.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The company needs to start investing in it's differentiation which is the technology. The executive team needs to stop inserting themselves into those discussions since most of them barely know the platform.

I don't think it can be improved.

Not enough emphasis on shoring up the subscription business. Project work is burning people out and leading to less financial stability.

Compensation, stress level, benefits, culture. These are all extremely lacking, and my mental health because of all of these things and COVID is making it worse.

I feel overworked and undervalued despite going above and beyond. My coworkers thank me/give me praise but we're already jumping onto the next project for that positive encouragement to actually feel validating.

Company politics drive down job satisfaction, merit and promotion is more based on relationships than actual work which is why the company continuously loses valuable talent. Operations team has too much power and hamstrings the rest of the organization by being very inefficient.

It's been hard to get excited about the company mission recently. Jessica's messages over the last two years have felt disconnected from reality. She has made many of us feel like we're not doing important work because we're not doing the work she likes, or landing 7-figure projects.
