I have worked for Carmax for many years. During my time I have been a Pres Sales Member, I have earned a supperlative, I have mentored sever successful associates. I also was promoted to Sales Manager and recieved Blue rating for Map. I asked for compression and was told no by LGM and RVP
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We try to do our best for each team member by treating everyone with respect regardless of position.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People, Im a people peraon and enjoy building long and lasting relationships. The team we have I love. However, the New LGM has forced me to step down to sales due to several reasons.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was a Sales Manager for over 8 years and helped train two new Sales Managers with less experience. I was being paid the same as one and the other Sales Manager was paid significantly more. When I addressed the issue I was told there was no compression
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Having more insight on how the stores operate on day to day business. Who makes the impacts, and who is fluffing info and doin the old CYA all the time to protect themselves because all they want is a promotion by speaking about the success others have worked hard to accomplish and taking the credit
