The leadership team at Centric is aligned and committed, smart and hardworking, and focused on the future.

Leadership is transparent, flexible and most importantly, lives the culture of unmatched employee experiences. I've lost track of the number of times leadership has gone above and beyond to help an employee with an ailing relative or sudden illness.

They lead with empathy. They are low ego and never pass up an opportunity to show vulnerability. They trust those on their teams, and we trust them. They are casual and fun and smart.

The leadership team exhibits the core values the company believes in and lives this. This includes a high level of transparency and integrity that I haven't seen at other companies. Additionally, they care about the company employees and clients at a way I haven't seen or experienced before.

"Unlimited PTO" is a great benefit. While I've never taken a huge amount of it, knowing the company is that progressive and collaborative with their teams to have that kind of a benefit speaks volumes.

Each year, company leadership finds ways to go above and beyond in financially rewarding people, most often by taking money out of their pockets to do So. This practice trickles down and ensures that people at all levels feel rewarded and appreciated.

The best part of the compensation is the paid time off, which is very generous, and can actually be used based on the companies belief (and actual behavior) around having a work / life balance.

We are extremely rigorous in hiring people who are not just bright and interested in working hard on cool projects, but they're also positive folks interested in collaborating. We have project teams that gel so well they've become friends outside of work and I suspect will stay that way.

My team has varied skills and is very collaborative and approachable on both on client facing projects, as well as with just knowledge sharing. They are eager to assist and the environment is not at all competitive in a negative way as at other companies. Many of my team members are also friends.

Leadership is everywhere. The company is not run by the original owners in a vacuum. They encourage and depends on leadership throughout the organization and take input from it. Having a C-suite who have a true open door policy to the entire company is wonderful.

The most positive item is that their culture is real and is embodied from the CEO across and down through the company. The company is not focused solely on "resource utilization", but life balance, integrity, community involvement, innovation and doing what's right (both to client and co-workers).

What did you like most about the interview process?
Mostly based on the single most important aspect of our team: Culture.

The interview process was very interactive and involved meeting multiple people at all levels of the organization. By the time the process was over, I knew exactly what kind of company I would be coming to work for.

Mid-way through I was invited to go to our all-company spring meeting. I was able to spend two days with about 500 of my future colleagues, and even was invited onstage to help present on the culture of the company. Favorite memory: a woman stopping me on an elevator and saying, best company ever!

I liked the fact that the interview process didn't focus solely on ability to do the work in the job description, but also focused on cultural fit and long term potential. The hiring was done with a "career" in mind, not just a "job" or "role that needed to be filled".
